La Place (1400 m²) is a Hip Hop cultural centre. Its primary objective is to promote all the elements of Hip Hop (dance, rap, DJing, graffiti, beatboxing and visual arts) through programs and events, creative and financial support. Dedicated to the Hip Hop movement and its performers, it allows all art form to be practiced, performed and promoted.
Spaces for Creativity
La Place has eight creation spaces that can accommodate to all the practices and are available to rent: there is a studio for video editing, for rehearsal, for recording, for DJing and for dance.
Studio 1A, 25 m², 5 people Control and mixing studio that is visually connected to Studio 1B.
Studio 1B, 87 m², 19 people
A sound, rehearsal and creative studio with natural light. It is visually connected to the control room (Studio 1A).
Studio 2, 110 m², 19 people
With lots of natural light, Studio 2 is ideal to rehearse in live conditions.
Studio 3, 94 m², 19 people
This naturally-lit studio with wood flooring and large mirrors is ideal for dance practice.
Studio 5, 9 m², 2 person
A music production studio: editing, recording and production.
Studio 6, 9 m², 2 person
Studio for solo DJing: sampling, rehearsal and recording.
Studio 7, 9 m², 2 person
Studio for duo DJing: sampling, rehearsal and recording.
Event Space
La Place includes a concert hall (400 capacity standing room only), a broadcasting studio (100-seat capacity), an exhibition space, and a bar / reception area with a cosy and amiable setting that can also be used for events.
